Why is RevoLucian's Bale Out remix of Christian Bale's rant so compelling?

Aside from the prolific use of the F word, I think it's because it features genuine anger, no matter how misdirected or unjustified. Anger fueled the early stages of almost every form of modern popular music, whether 60's acid rock, heavy metal, punk, or hip-hop, but it always mellowed into something slicker and more commercial. There's little angry music in the popular lexicon right now, and this particular remix serves it up to a receptive audience.

My gadgets are like a barn full of animals; I could get along without them, but it wouldn’t be nearly as easy or fun. They’re not truly necessary, and they take some care and feeding; you have to walk them, and they occasionally leave a mess behind. But, they are fun to work and play with, loyal, and they often surprise you.

I have reluctantly implemented a technique called greylisting on felix.org to fight the ever-increasing volume of incoming SPAM (sorry, Hormel). Greylisting works by keeping track of sender/receiver pairs; if an email is received for the first time from a sender to a recipient, felix.org tells the sending mail host to wait and retry. Real mail servers will retry automatically, but spammers rarely try again.
