Excerpt from "The Adventures of Peter Pan," by J.M. Barrie

The jealous fairy had now cast off all disguise of friendship, and was darting at her victim from every direction, pinching savagely each time she touched.
"Hullo, Tink," cried the wondering boys.
Tink's reply rang out: "Peter wants you to shoot the Wendy."
It was not in their nature to question when Peter ordered.
"let us do what Peter wishes!" cried the simple boys. "Quick, bows and arrows!"
...and that's a wrap.

This is it. The night of nights.
No more rehearsing or nursing a part;
We know every part by heart!
Overture, curtain, lights!
This is it. We'll hit the heights!
And oh, what heights we'll hit;
On with the show, this is it!
Tonight what heights we'll hit;
On with the show this is it.

Submitted by robin on Mon, 2009-07-13 18:17.I agree with "Time for a Bigger Tent" but would heretically go even farther. My own reunions have always been scheduled with the classes before mine, but most of my close friends were in the classes after mine. Navy duty and geography conspired to keep me from early reunions; as a result I never developed the class reunion habit.
